I have been getting hot flashes and night sweats,how?

I have had a Hysterectomy, so I 'm not Menopausal. They occur mostly at work. have a physical job but even when I stand around I get them. I work at Night if this is a factor And our work is temperature controlled. Any ideas? They are very unpleasant, like I walk into an oven.
