Can I refinance my car when "things" get better?

I just purchased a 06 Jeep Commander. I love it! I went from a huge mercury mountaineer to a scion xb now to my commander all within 6 months. First the gas prices made me get the xb but now we found out we are expecting baby number 2 and we had a hard enough time fitting all of our crap with one baby in the xb so now back to the gas guzzlers LOL! We are very happy with our purchase but a little unhappy about the rate we received. I have EXCELLENT CREDIT. My 03 Mountaineer was at a 6.9 and so was my xb. Now this car is at a little over 8%! The finance woman said it's b/c of how things are right now... will I be able to refinance if and when things get better?
