I got my first pay check today and noticed i was taxed around 25 bucks for this tax, however I looked at my friends paycheck and he was deducted nothing yet he and I are in the same cirstance (in college, live with parents, no kids, one job, no wife etc). Removing the boning out of a dress?

Just get a tailor to do it. The boning is only there for shape, but if you are finding it hard to be comfortable in the dress with the boning then have it taken out. They will probably be able to get it out and re sew the dress so that it looks the same.

Pureed meat for babies?

My pediatrician said it's ok to start feeding my 6 month old small amounts of meat. She recommended not buying baby food meat b/c it's actually very little meat and lots of additives/preservatives. She said to puree plain meat at home, or even lightly salted/peppered meat that we cook for dinner. Many people I've talked w/ said this is way too early. I haven't given any to her yet. What's your opinion?

Theres a lot of reasons why your period hasnt come. Have you been under alot of stress??? You probably stressed yourself out more becuase your freaking out that your period hasnt come. Another could be is that have you started exercising more alot of woman athletes have irregular periods because they work out so much. Have you started a crash diet some ppl have pressure to lose weight fo a big even t coming uo so the eat horribly and that alters their periods. Also if you are ually active there is a chance you could be pregnant but i think you'd have more pregnancy symptoms. Or not to scare you but stds can cause you to miss or have irregular periods like for example chlymidia well im glad you will be going to the doctors im sure everything will be ok oh and ps is nothing to be ashamed of

Could a current or ex-pest control technician please answer my question?

I had my home and yard treated for fire ants 2 months ago. They are gone now, however, another ant species has decided to move in. My pest control contract only covers fire ants. Before I knew they weren't fire ants, I called a technician to come out. There were no ants "active" so he said to call him once I catch a sample with scotch tape, and that If it's not a fire ant, treatment will cost $200, but that he'll do it for $100 since I used to work for the company. I called him back a few days later. He returned and saw many active non-fire ants. He said to treat will cost $150. I told him the price I thought I heard him say before, but he only looked confused and said he told me $150. I told him I didn't have $150 since I thought it would be $100, and that I'll have to maybe call him back out in 2wks if my husband and I decide we can put that in our budget. He said he'd go ahead & treat the area where they are active by "pretending" they are fire ants, and that if his company calls to tell them they were fire ants. I didn't tell him then, but I do not lie. I saw he was trying to help me though, so I told him ok. His company called me, while I was driving, to re-schedule the next appointment, and said the tech told them he "started" a job but had to leave because I told him I had to be somewhere. I told the caller to call me back tomorrow to talk about it. When I got home, I looked over my copy of the "sheet" I signed for him. I noticed he didn't put a price, but under "note" he wrote, "treatment stopped-cust had to go. Will call in to reset." I was so busy having 2 hungry toddlers pulling on me that I didn't even read it first! I just wanted him to go so I could deal with my cranky kids. What should I do now? When they call back, I could get him in trouble if i told them the truth. I was wrong for even letting him 'try" to help. But now what do I do. I refuse to pay the $150, since I never intended to in the first place. I never told him I would. I told him we'd think about it.

Do you think the early Disney movies are inappropriate for kids? Really?

I was watching Peter Pan with my toddler son and noticed a lot of swords/violence and drinking and racial stereotypes. I don't think that I suffered any ill effects from watching these movies but I felt a twinge of guilt letting my 2-year old watch them. I LOVE the clics, but do you think I'm being irresponsible for endorsing movies that lack political correctness? Is the media to blame for the guilt we feel or is there truly reason to object?

Bottle feeding kittens?

My cat gave birth to two kittens about a week and a half ago. We noticed the one is thriving but the mother is acting weird toward the runt. His eyes are not open yet and she seems to feed the thriving one more then the runt who is considerably smaller and thinner then his sibling. Should I try botte feeding the runt to see if he improves or give it more time? On a note the mother cat has no objections to me reaching in the cage and petting her or the kittens. You could always use an outdoor one for them, i know their more expensive but their alot bigger, and you might want to be thinking about a two storied one or seperate hutches unless their very small rabbits Goodluck :)

Wedding date on Labor day weekend?

I couldnt imagine setting my wedding date so far ahead, but I think that in reality it's a good choice. Nobody is going to have plans for labor day weekend almost a year in advance, except to go to your beautiful wedding! I definately think it will be good...Just make sure it's not AFTER labor day :D Cuz I hear you're not supposed to wear white after labor day...hahahaha

Why do only white people do this?

I have moved around 12 times and been to 12 different schools, and in all of my environments, only white people have been racist toward me--whether subtly or blatantly. My environments have also been diverse, from NYC to KY, so why do only white people take a racist stance with me when I am always receptive to them?

What kind of truck is good for hauling?

Whatever type you get (I'm partial to Fords) you should probably get atleast a 1/2 ton, and diesels will pull better than gas engines (they'll atleast get better mpg than a gas while pulling)

Zetterberg or Crosby?

Zetterberg is a great player, but Crosby wins this one pretty easily. Remember that Crosby was the best in the NHL last season. Zetterberg is a talented forward but I think he fits more in the category with Simon Gagne or Hossa. Zetterberg is a star player but he is not someone who has a chance to redefine the game.

in Hawaii. Those people are very mean-spirited; they say Obama is going to Hawaii to court regarding his citizenship problems! The thing is Greta doesn't even come professionally and answer some of the worst allegations made on her blog by her worshipers. What do you think Obama is going to do in Hawaii? Being by his grandmother bedside befor she dies? Or settle some stupid lawsuit against him being a non-citizen?
